"Veteran Class. Ch Mary of Nutstown, and Best Movement at eight and a half years old. Like her BOB daughter, Bridgid, flawless in angulation, she is not as large or as substantial, however. Her lost underline cost her best veteran. Her neck, topline and quarters have the musculation of a far younger hound. Took the movement cup, in profile particularly, she is an object lesson in 'easy and active'. Most of the hounds I kept aside to watch together in this decision for the movement cup had high head carriage and strong drive off the hock. Only Mary had reach in front to equal drive from behind, a ground skimming action which showed no sign of tiring."

Mary won her first C.C. towards her UK title at the 1984 Northern Ireland Club Specialty at eight years of age under Helen Baker.
She won her second C.C. at Belfast Show 1984 under John Briggs. John wrote:
"C.C. Mr Behan's Mary of Nutstown. This bitch has a lovely houndy outline, plenty of substance, sound as a bell, very feminine head and moved better than any other Wolfhound present. She really stood out even though she was 8 and a half years old, a really good example of how a sound animal should look."
